Ideas for Future Posts

Hello!

Here are some of my ideas about future posts that I might write about!

I really like STAR WARS and there is a new movie coming out on December 20th. I was thinking about writing about the movie and other Star Wars characters after I’ve seen the movie, without spoiling anything.

I was also thinking about writing about some of things that are happening in Major League Baseball. There are lots of trades and other people that teams are selling to other teams, and this is all very interesting.

Reflection

Hello everyone! I’m am going to write one last reflection on my experience in the Student Blogging Challenge. I participated in approximately 7 weeks of the Student Blogging Challenge. I think that in writing my blog, I have really opened up into writing about things for other people.

I wrote a total of 16 posts in the 8 week period. I wrote more than one post for each week. For some of the weeks, I wrote more posts than others. I also received about 22 comments from other students in my class, my teacher, and even a few comments from other kids from around the world.

I think the posts that I enjoyed writing the most, were the posts about the guitar and the post about Jack Johnson. I am really into music, and I love songs by Jack Johnson. Listening to his music made me want to learn how to play the guitar, and now I can play the guitar, while listening to his music.

For my blog, I uploaded a lot of images from my phone, and other websites that produced free images. I used some websites to help me out when trying to write about emoji’s. I also looked at other people’s blogs to see how to write in HTML.

I think that the Student Blogging Challenge was really cool, and the fact that different people from around the world were doing the same thing was really quite fascinating. I think that I might post a few more things in the future. It would only be something that I think was really cool, and something that I would want everyone to know.

That’s a wrap to the Student Blogging Challenge!

Family Celebration

Hello everyone! This is a picture of one of my family celebrations.

This is a picture of my family on Christmas Eve. We are all wearing the same pajama pants. Our Christmas tree is in the back. We always put lights on the tree, and we hang a lot of ornaments. Sometimes, I think the tree will die and fall over because of all of the weight that is on the tree. πŸ™‚ My little brother always puts an angel on the top branch. In this picture we are all ready to go to bed, and we are all excited.

I hope you enjoyed my picture of my ginger family!

Holiday Poem

Hello bloggers! Here are a few small poems about Christmas time!

The tree is bought,

The lights are hung,

The ornaments are glistening,

And Saint Nick is listening.

The stockings are hung,

The tree is up,

The milk is out,

And the elves are about.

It cold outside,

Santa is coming,

The lights are up,

And fireplace is roaring.

Jack Johnson

I like a singer-song writer named Jack Johnson. My dad showed me his music when I was very little, and I started listening to his music all the time.

Jack Johnson was born and raised in the North Shore of Oahu, Hawaii. He mainly plays the guitar in his songs, and that is why I wanted to learn how to play the guitar.

Jack Johnson plays and sings β€œRock” music. Lots of his songs are slow, and I like to listen to them to calm me down.

His songs are really relaxing, and I suggest you to listen to some of his songs.

The Guitar

The guitar is and instrument that was created by a German immigrant to the United States, named Christian Frederick Martin. He was born on January 31, 1796, and he died on February 16, 1873. He invented the guitar in the 1930s.

A guitar is an instrument that has 6 strings, and when you strum it, the sound vibrates into the inside of the guitar to make noise. The string on the top is called an “E” string. Going down is the “A” string, then the “D” string, then the “G” string, the “B” string, and the last string is the “E” string again at a higher pitch.

The strings on the top have lower sounding notes than the strings on the bottom.

The lines on the “neck” of the guitar are called frets, which create a different note for each finger placed on the different string on the different fret.

That is just a little bit about the guitar!

Leave comments below on what you think! You can comment any questions you have about the guitar.
